In September 2007 Scanlaser UK had its first round of Machine Automation and Control Awareness Days. Various sessions were held at the Scanlaser site on the MIRA Proving ground in Nuneaton over a four day period.

The days proved very popular with the market and attracted visitors from a variety of backgrounds such as utilities, construction, earth moving etc. This gave us the perfect opportunity to provide our guests with a better understanding of Machine Automation and Control Solutions by using our products to explain the array of benefits which can be achieved including increased productivity, reduced project down-time and increased site safety.

Each session began with a short presentation after which all our guests were taken by bus to our demonstration site a short distance away. Here we were able to increase their awareness of Machine Automation and Control by providing access to real life hands on demonstrations. In some cases we asked customers and their colleagues to get up and use the machines and products for themselves to gain first hand experience of their simplicity of use and operation.

Overall the days proved to be very successful for us and we achieved our aim of increasing awareness of the possibilities associated with Machine Automation and Control.
